Quinn in League Classic: Legacy Kit and Changes

Classic Quinn brings back Tag Team, the ultimate where Valor takes the field alone. Here is the legacy kit, how it compares to live Quinn, and her Classic patch history since Patch 26.20.

At a glance

Quinn in League Classic is the legacy Demacian ranger, built around a ultimate that swaps her out of the fight entirely. The first thing a live-game Quinn player notices is Tag Team: instead of flying alongside Valor, Quinn leaves the battlefield and Valor fights on his own until you recast to bring her back.

She arrived in League Classic in Patch 26.20, and that entry is the only Classic patch line she has so far. The full roster of returning champions is on our League Classic champions page.

The Classic kit

Classic Quinn’s kit shares its names and core loop with live Quinn: mark a target, hit the mark, cash in on the speed. The ultimate is where the identity splits.

  • Passive, Harrier: Valor tags nearby enemies every so often, and attacking a tagged enemy adds extra damage.
  • Q, Blinding Assault: Valor dives into a target area, damaging and blinding every enemy caught in it.
  • W, Heightened Senses: triggering Harrier passively grants attack speed and move speed; the active briefly lights up a wide area around Quinn.
  • E, Vault: Quinn dashes onto an enemy, then springs off them, dealing damage, knocking them back and slowing them. Valor follows up by marking that target with Harrier, so a Vault sets up your next empowered attack.
  • R, Tag Team: Quinn pulls out of the fight and Valor takes over. Valor moves much faster, keeps a stronger version of the Heightened Senses attack speed buff for the whole duration, and uses altered versions of Blinding Assault and Vault. Recasting fires Skystrike, damaging enemies around Valor and putting Quinn back on the map.

Quinn

New
Passive - Harrier
Valor periodically marks nearby enemies, whom Quinn can attack to deal bonus damage.
Q - Blinding Assault
Valor flies out to damage and blind enemies in an area.
W - Heightened Senses
Passively gives Quinn bonus attack and move speed whenever she triggers Harrier. Activate to briefly reveal a large area around her.
E - Vault
Quinn dashes to and then vaults off an enemy, damaging, knocking back, and slowing them. Valor then marks the target with Harrier.
R - Tag Team
Quinn retreats from the battlefield, sending Valor in her place. Valor has substantial bonus move speed, permanently has an empowered version of Heightened Senses’ attack speed buff, and casts modified versions of Blinding Assault and Vault. Re-casting (R) casts Skystrike, damaging all nearby enemies and returning Quinn to the battlefield.
MID.GG analysis

This entry adds Quinn to League Classic with her legacy kit, headlined by Tag Team, where Valor replaces her in combat with high move speed and a permanent empowered attack speed buff. Vault’s knockback and its Harrier mark make the E a setup tool for an immediate empowered attack, a different rhythm from the live interrupt-and-reposition Vault.

In practice, Tag Team turns the ultimate into a second combat form rather than a movement tool. You commit to fighting as Valor, then pick the moment to recast for Skystrike’s damage and Quinn’s return.

Frequently asked questions

What is different about Quinn in League Classic?

Classic Quinn’s biggest difference is her ultimate, Tag Team. Instead of flying with Valor as a travel tool, Quinn leaves the map and Valor fights in her place with heavy move speed, a permanent empowered attack speed buff and modified versions of Blinding Assault and Vault. Her Vault also knocks targets back rather than briefly interrupting them.

Is Quinn’s old ultimate Tag Team back in League Classic?

Yes. League Classic Quinn uses Tag Team, the legacy ultimate in which Quinn retreats and Valor takes the field alone. Valor moves much faster, keeps an empowered attack speed buff and casts modified Blinding Assault and Vault. Recasting the ultimate fires Skystrike, which damages nearby enemies and brings Quinn back into the fight.

When did Quinn arrive in League Classic?

Quinn came to League Classic in Patch 26.20, where her patch-notes entry carried the new verdict and listed the legacy kit’s ability text. That entry is the only Classic change for her so far, so the version you play is exactly the one that arrived in that patch, with no balance tuning since.

Is there a Quinn Classic build or rune page?

No build, rune page or tier exists for Quinn in League Classic, because the mode has no statistics of any kind. What is known comes from Riot’s Classic patch entries, which describe her legacy kit. Live-game builds and data belong to the regular game and should not be treated as Classic recommendations.
