Amumu in League Classic: Legacy Kit and Changes
Classic Amumu brings back a passive that shreds magic resist instead of converting damage to true damage. He arrived in Patch 26.22, and his first Classic entry is a nerf to his passive, Q and ultimate.

Amumu in League Classic at a glance
The Classic kit
Passive – Cursed Touch: basic attacks shred magic resistance, and the shred grows at levels 1, 7 and 13. After the 26.22 change it tops out at 25 rather than 35. Q – Bandage Toss: the notes list only its damage, which climbs over five ranks from 80 up to 280 after the nerf. They say nothing about the hook itself, so treat its other behavior as unconfirmed by the Classic notes. W – Despair and E – Tantrum: neither appears in any Classic entry, so the notes give no detail on how they work in the mode. R – Curse of the Sad Mummy: the area-of-effect ultimate, now on a longer cooldown of 170, 145 and 120 seconds across its three ranks.

Riot’s reasoning
The nerf pulls Amumu back toward a simple fast-farming jungler after bug fixes and earlier buffs left him among the strongest in the role, with one older change restored to cut his team-wiping area power.

Your early clear and first ganks feel the same, since the level-1 shred and rank-1 Q damage did not change. Your team’s magic damage gains less from your autos after level 7, with the shred capped lower. Your ultimate comes back less often, so track its timer before you start a fight around Dragon or Baron Nashor.
