Gury LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Gury is the Vietnamese jungler for MVK Esports, a bruiser-first player built around Lee Sin, Maokai, Vi and Wukong. Here is his season, his pool, his builds and his road to Worlds 2026.

Gury, real name Lương Hải Long, is a Vietnamese League of Legends (LoL) jungler who plays for MVK Esports in the LCP, the Asia Pacific league. He is known for a fight-first jungle pool built on Lee Sin, Maokai, Vi and Wukong, and for taking top-lane bruisers such as Aatrox into the jungle. Born 28 October 2003, he has been with MVK since 17 January 2025 and heads to Worlds 2026 with the team.

2026 season stats

Gury’s 2026 has been harder than his 2025. He is winning less often than last year, dying more per game and scoring fewer kills, so his KDA sits clearly below the 3.91 he posted last season.

That 2025 baseline was a winning year. He played 91 games and finished with a 48–43 record, which makes the step back in 2026 a change in results rather than a player who has always hovered around even.

The rest of the line shows how his role has shifted. His farm and gold per minute are slightly up and his vision per minute is higher than in 2025, while his share of the team’s damage and his kill participation have both dipped. That reads as a jungler doing more setup and resource work while fewer of the fights go MVK’s way.

If you study his games, watch his warding and camp timings rather than his kill count. Vision is the one part of his 2026 line that has clearly improved, and it is the habit most worth copying in ranked.

Gury champions: pool and pro win rates

Wukong is his most played champion of 2026, but it is not where his best results come from. His Wukong record trails most of the pool, which suggests the pick is drafted for what it offers the team, a reliable teamfight ultimate and a strong skirmish profile, more than for his personal form on it.

Maokai is the standout on a real sample. It has a clearly winning record this year and the heaviest assist numbers in his pool, which tells you exactly what the pick is for: engage, peel and objective setups rather than carrying. When MVK want a stable game, Maokai is the answer.

Aatrox is the other pick that has worked over a meaningful number of games. A top-lane bruiser played in the jungle, it gives MVK a jungler who can win extended fights around Dragon and Voidgrubs and still hold a front line in teamfights.

Naafiri is the clear problem. Across a real sample this year it has rarely ended in a win, and it was still one of his picks in the late-August series against CTBC Flying Oyster. Vi, Lee Sin and Jarvan IV have hovered around even and remain the engage options he falls back on most.

Beyond that core, the pool is broad. Jayce, Zyra, Qiyana, Malphite and Trundle have each appeared only a handful of times, so their records say more about draft flexibility than strength. In 2025 he played 22 different champions, and this year’s pool is similarly wide.

Pro builds on Wukong, Vi and Aatrox

Sundered Sky is the constant in Gury’s builds. It appears on all three of his most played champions, paired with Trinity Force on Wukong, Black Cleaver on Vi and Spear of Shojin on Aatrox. Every one of those cores is about staying in a fight longer than the opponent, not deleting a single target.

His later items lean defensive. Guardian Angel is a regular on Wukong and shows up on Vi, while Death’s Dance, Sterak’s Gage and Maw of Malmortius come in when the enemy damage calls for them. He builds to be the player who dives first and survives the response.

The rune pages tell the same story. Conqueror with Triumph and Legend: Alacrity is the base on all three, with Coup de Grace on Wukong and Vi and Last Stand on Aatrox. The secondary tree is Inspiration for Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight, trading a second combat rune for free boots and faster Summoner spells, and he takes Flash and Smite every game.

Put together, the builds describe a jungler who wants long skirmishes around objectives, not quick picks. If you play these champions in ranked, our guides cover jungle fundamentals, and the patch notes show when Sundered Sky or Conqueror change.

TipCopy the core, not the whole build

Take Sundered Sky plus the champion’s partner item from his panel, then pick the third item from the enemy team: Guardian Angel or Death’s Dance into physical damage, Maw of Malmortius into heavy magic damage.

Gury’s LoL career so far

Gury’s first listed professional team is Vikings Esports, the 2023 Vietnamese organization formerly known as Saigon Buffalo. He played jungle there from 24 February 2023 to 9 September 2023.

His next listed team is MVK Esports, the organization formerly known as MGN Vikings Esports, which he joined on 17 January 2025. He has been MVK’s jungler since then, with full 2025 and 2026 seasons on the scoreboards and a winning record across his career.

Two threads run through the arc. The Vikings name links both of his teams, and his champion pool has drifted from tanks toward bruisers: Gragas, last played in April 2023, and Sejuani, last played in May 2025, have given way to Wukong and Aatrox at the top of his 2026 usage, with Maokai as the one tank he still relies on.
