Kratos LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Kratos is MVK Esports’ Vietnamese top laner, a frontline-first player built around K’Sante, Ambessa and Gnar who heads to the Worlds 2026 Play-Ins with the Asia Pacific #3 seed.

Kratos (Ngô Đức Khánh) is a Vietnamese top laner for MVK Esports, competing in the LCP, the Asia Pacific league. Born 22 April 2005, he has spent his whole listed LoL career with the organization, joining on 17 January 2025 when it still played as MGN Vikings Esports. He is known for a frontline-first pool built on K’Sante and Ambessa, with Gnar as the pick he reaches for most this year, and this autumn he takes MVK onto the international stage.

2026 season stats

2026 has been a harder year for Kratos than his first season at MVK. In 2025 he finished 48–43 across 91 games with a 3.04 KDA, a winning record for a player in his first full year with the team. This season his win rate is well down on that, he is dying more often per game, and his KDA has dropped accordingly.

The individual laning numbers tell a different story from the results. He is farming more per minute than in 2025, taking a slightly bigger share of his team’s damage, and placing noticeably more vision. His kill participation is close to last year’s level. In other words, the side lane is not where his games are slipping: the gap shows up in deaths and in how often MVK converts games, not in how much he produces.

For anyone following him at Worlds, that is the useful read. Kratos still gets his farm and still hits for his share; the question is whether he and his team can cut the extra deaths that turned a winning 2025 into a losing record this year. His pool size is about the same as last season, so the drop is not a case of spreading too thin across new champions.

Champion pool and pro win rates

Gnar and K’Sante are his most played champions this year, and neither has delivered. Both sit on clear losing records across a real sample, and K’Sante has been the rougher of the two, which stands out because it is the champion he has played most across his career with an even record. When MVK lock in the K’Sante blind pick in 2026, it has not been the safe floor it was in 2025.

Ambessa is the one champion with a meaningful sample and a winning record this season. She is the pick that has worked best for him on enough games to take seriously, and his best-games list leans on her heavily in the summer split. Renekton, Jayce, Aatrox and Yorick all show positive results too, but each sits on too few games this season to call them strong; treat them as promising rather than proven.

The tail of the pool shows how flexible MVK’s drafts are. Vayne and Varus in the top lane, plus Zaahen, Rek’Sai and Olaf, are counterpick and pocket options rather than comfort picks. Varus has not produced a win yet, but on three games that is a small sample, not a verdict. The pattern is a player who can be handed almost any top lane role, from tank to ranged carry to skirmisher.

Two 2025 staples have dropped out entirely. Jax and Udyr were part of his rotation last year and have not appeared in 2026, while Gwen faded after the opening split. That shift fits the season stats: the 2026 pool has moved toward Gnar, Ambessa and lane-bully options such as Renekton and Jayce rather than the scaling duelists of his first year.

Pro builds

His builds say Kratos wants long, stable lanes and a Teleport ready for the map. He takes Flash and Teleport on all three of his most played champions, and two of the three run Grasp of the Undying with a Resolve and Inspiration page. That is a top laner who expects to trade for a long time, hold the wave and join fights from the side, not one who plans to end lane with an early kill.

On Gnar he builds as a bruiser rather than a ranged poker. Trinity Force is his first item, with Sterak’s Gage most often behind it and Wit’s End when the enemy team brings magic damage. The rune page is Fleet Footwork in Precision with Resolve secondary, taking Bone Plating and Overgrowth: healing on the move and a cushion against all-ins, so he can survive a lane where Gnar is often the weaker side before Mega Gnar comes online.

On K’Sante he goes full tank. Jak’Sho and The Protean lead the build, followed by Iceborn Gauntlet, Kaenic Rookern and Unending Despair, with Randuin’s Omen or Spirit Visage as answers to specific threats. Grasp of the Undying with Shield Bash and Second Wind gives him lane sustain, while Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight in Inspiration add more staying power and lower cooldowns on Flash and Teleport. The Iceborn Gauntlet slow is a clear hint that his K’Sante is there to peel and stick to divers, not to look for flashy all-ins.

On Ambessa the build turns aggressive while keeping the same rune skeleton. Eclipse and Spear of Shojin carry the damage, then Maw of Malmortius or Death’s Dance buy survivability against burst. Grasp with adaptive stat shards instead of K’Sante’s attack speed and health scaling shows how he treats her: a skirmisher who still needs to win long trades in lane before she becomes a threat in side lanes.

TipWhat to copy in solo queue

If you play top and often blind pick, his Grasp of the Undying page with Second Wind, Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight is a reliable template for tanky champions in lanes you cannot win early. Kratos LoL career so far

Kratos has one organization on his record. He joined MVK Esports on 17 January 2025, when the team still went by MGN Vikings Esports, and has been its starting top laner since. His first season there was a winning one, and it built the K’Sante and Ambessa foundation that still defines his pool.

2026 has been more uneven. The results have dipped and the pool has shifted, but MVK still secured a place at the World Championship, and Kratos goes there as the same top laner who has started for the team throughout. His record lists no titles yet, which makes the international stage the next chance to add one. You can follow other Asia Pacific players and teams across our esports coverage.
