Busio LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Busio won titles with FlyQuest in North America, then took them to Europe with Karmine Corp. His 2026 season, champion pool, pro builds and place at Worlds 2026.

Busio, real name Alan Cwalina, is an American LoL support who plays for Karmine Corp in the LEC. He made his name in North America with 100 Thieves and FlyQuest, winning LCS and LTA titles, then moved to Europe for 2026 and lifted the LEC Versus and Summer trophies in his first year. His game is built on range: engage tanks such as Nautilus, Rakan and Leona sit next to roaming and enchanter picks like Bard, Lulu and Seraphine, and he changes style from draft to draft.

2026 season stats

Busio’s 2026 is busier than his 2025 and a little less one-sided. With FlyQuest he won 70.3% of his games last year. At Karmine Corp he still wins far more than he loses, but at a lower rate, on an LEC calendar that also took in the Esports World Cup.

The shape of his play has moved too. He takes a slightly larger share of his team’s damage than in 2025, places more vision per minute and has a slightly lower kill participation, while his KDA sits below last year’s 4.60. Read together, the numbers fit a support who spends more time warding and moving around the map, and who plays more damage-capable champions than he did in North America.

His pool is also wider than in 2025. That breadth helps Karmine Corp in draft, because opponents cannot ban out one style. The cost is more champions played on small samples, which shows in the weaker records further down his pool.

Busio’s champions and pro win rates

Seraphine and Bard are Busio’s most played champions in 2026, with Nami close behind. All three do more than peel: Seraphine adds wave clear and teamfight damage, Bard creates picks away from lane, and Nami wins long trading patterns in the 2v2. That trio is the core of what Karmine Corp asks from him.

The best results on a real sample come from Lulu, Leona and Rakan. Each has lost only a handful of games or none at all this year, and they cover very different jobs: Lulu protects a hyper-carry, while Leona and Rakan start fights. When Karmine Corp hands him one of those three, the team has tended to win.

The weak spots are just as clear. Nautilus, Rell, Camille and Karma all carry losing records in 2026, which stands out because Nautilus is the champion he has played most across his career. Camille in the support role is a pocket pick that has not paid off yet, while Vel’Koz and Shen have too few games to judge.

For viewers, his pick is a quick read on Karmine Corp’s game plan. Lulu points to a game played around protecting a carry, Leona or Rakan point to early fights in the bot lane, and Bard points to a map-wide game of roams and picks.

Pro builds on Seraphine, Bard and Nami

Busio builds his enchanters to keep carries alive and his Bard to start and survive fights. The item that runs through all three of his top champions is Mikael’s Blessing, the cleanse item that frees an ally from crowd control. It tells you he expects catch-heavy drafts and wants an answer in his inventory.

On Seraphine his core is Moonstone Renewer and Echoes of Helia, a healing-and-shielding path rather than a burst build, with Dawncore or Diadem of Songs as occasional alternatives. The rune page matches: Summon Aery in Sorcery with Manaflow Band, Transcendence and Scorch, plus an Inspiration secondary of Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight.

Bard is where he gets aggressive. He runs Electrocute in Domination with Cheap Shot, Deep Ward and Ultimate Hunter, plus Nimbus Cloak and Celerity from Sorcery for movement speed. His items stay defensive, though: Locket of the Iron Solari and Mikael’s Blessing, with Bandlepipes, Dead Man’s Plate or Knight’s Vow on top. The page is for roaming and picking off targets; the items are for the fight that follows.

Nami uses the same Aery page as Seraphine, but the items lean into team damage. Imperial Mandate is the core of every Nami build, paired with Mikael’s Blessing and sometimes Shurelya’s Battlesong for engage speed. He takes Flash and Heal on all three champions.

TipWhat to copy in solo queue

The habit worth copying is the counter-item. Busio adds Mikael’s Blessing on all three of his top champions, so look at the enemy draft for catch tools before you commit to a full shield or full damage path. Item values shift between patches, so read the latest patch notes first, and use our guides for the wider support fundamentals.

Busio LoL career: from 100 Thieves to Karmine Corp

Busio’s professional career began at 100 Thieves, where he played support from 26 January to 20 August 2023. Thresh was among his picks in that first season, but the stint did not produce a title.

His breakthrough came at FlyQuest, which he joined on 20 January 2024. He won LCS 2024 Spring in his first split with the team, sealed on 10 March 2024, and added the LCS 2024 Championship on 7 September 2024. In 2025, competing in LTA North, FlyQuest kept winning: Split 2, the Split 2 Playoffs and Split 3, followed by the LTA 2025 Championship on 28 September 2025.

He left FlyQuest on 9 November 2025 and joined Karmine Corp on 17 January 2026, taking an American support into the LEC. The move paid off at once: Karmine Corp won LEC 2026 Versus on 8 February 2026, only weeks after he arrived, finished second at the Esports World Cup 2026 and won LEC 2026 Summer on 30 August 2026. Results from every league he has played in are tracked on our esports hub.

Achievements

The titles that define Busio are the LCS 2024 Championship, the LTA 2025 Championship and LEC 2026 Summer: a domestic crown in each of the last three years, in two regions and with two organizations. That record is the clearest case for him, because he has won wherever he has played since 2024.

Internationally, his standout result is second place at the Esports World Cup 2026, decided on 19 July 2026. It is also his first major event with Karmine Corp outside the LEC, and it came in the same summer the team went on to win the domestic title.
