Current LYON roster

The lineup is a settled five with experience in every role: Dhokla in the top lane, Inspired in the jungle, Saint in mid, Berserker on bot and Isles at support. Rigby and Reignover lead the coaching staff. Across the season the starters played almost every game together, which shows in how cleanly the team executes its early-game plans.

Two other players appear in the season stats. Armao covered the jungle for a handful of games when Inspired sat out, and Castle stepped in briefly at top. Neither is part of the current five, and the core has not changed for the matches that decide seeding.

2026 season record and player stats

LYON’s 2026 season is a winning one by a clear margin, in series and in individual games. The record held up across both the regular season and the playoffs, and the team rarely lost two series in a row. That consistency is what earned the second North American seed rather than a single hot streak.

Side selection matters for this team. LYON is noticeably stronger on blue side, where first pick lets it secure a priority jungler or a comfort bot-lane champion before the opponent can respond. Red side is still a winning side for them, just a less dominant one. Their games tend to run to a standard length rather than ending in fast stomps, which fits a team that wins through controlled objective trades more than early snowballs.

Berserker is the clearest carry on the roster. He posts the best KDA among the starters and combines high damage output with very few deaths, the profile of a bot laner the team plays around in fights. Isles leads the team in assists, Inspired’s line shows a jungler involved in nearly every play, and Saint gives the team a reliable mid lane that adds kills without overextending.

Dhokla has the most modest numbers of the five, with more deaths than the rest of the lineup. That reads as a top laner absorbing pressure so the resources flow to the bot side and the jungle, rather than a weak link. His win rate sits right alongside his teammates’, which is the number that matters for a weakside role.

Key takeawayHow LYON wins

The season stats point to a clear identity.

  1. Berserker is the main damage source, and the team invests in keeping him alive in fights.
  2. Inspired and Isles drive the early map through roams and jungle tempo.
  3. Blue side lets LYON take its priority picks first, and the results on that side reflect it.

Draft priorities

LYON drafts around early-game junglers and a protected bot lane. Xin Zhao is their most played champion, and Wukong and Jarvan IV also sit near the top of the list, all skirmishers that let Inspired fight for river control and first objectives. On bot, Yunara, Ezreal and Lucian give Berserker carries that scale from a strong lane, while Lulu is the support pick that ties the plan together by protecting him in fights.

  • Jungle: Xin Zhao, Wukong and Jarvan IV, picks built for early skirmishes and objective setups.
  • Bot and support: Yunara, Ezreal and Lucian alongside Lulu, a carry-and-protect duo.
  • Solo lanes: Gnar and Rumble for top, Ryze for mid, champions that offer teamfight value without demanding heavy jungle attention.

The ban list tells the same story from the other side. Vi is banned far more often than anything else in LYON’s games, and Pantheon, Nocturne and Lee Sin also feature heavily, which means jungle matchups shape most of their drafts. Control mages such as Orianna, Cassiopeia and Seraphine, plus Karma, round out the list, a sign that mid and support picks with strong teamfight control are the other battleground.

If you play jungle in solo queue, the takeaway is practical. LYON’s picks reward early pathing toward the side where your strongest lane is, and Xin Zhao and Jarvan IV are good examples of champions that turn a level 3 gank into map control. Check our guides for how to apply that pathing in your own games.

Recent form

LYON closed the LCS 2026 Summer regular season in strong form. The final stretch was a run of clean sweeps, including wins over Team Liquid and Cloud9, with a single series loss to Sentinels in mid-August as the only blemish. That run set the team up for a high playoff position.

The playoffs were bumpier. LYON dropped its opening playoff series to Cloud9, then responded with wins over Shopify Rebellion and Cloud9 in a rematch that showed the team can adjust its draft between series. The most recent series, against Team Liquid on 4 October 2026, went the other way. Every game of the playoff run is linked below, and the Cloud9 rematch is the one to watch for how LYON adapted.

History and achievements

The organization built its name in Latin American League of Legends. Its first great era came in 2018 in the LLN, where it won the LLN 2018 Opening, the Opening Playoffs and the LLN 2018 Closing, and reached third place at Rift Rivals 2018 against teams from the CLS and CBLOL.

The LLA years extended that record. LYON won the LLA 2020 Closing Playoffs and the LLA 2022 Opening, then had its strongest stretch in 2023, taking the Opening Playoffs as well as both the Closing split and the Closing Playoffs. In 2024 it repeated the Closing double, winning the regular split and the playoffs. The 2026 LCS season marks a new chapter in North America, with a lineup that has already qualified for the World Championship.
