BrokenBlade LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

BrokenBlade (Sergen Çelik) is the German top laner for G2 Esports, the LEC organization he has played for since January 2022. In LoL’s EMEA scene he is known for a wide top lane pool anchored by K’Sante, for winning at least one domestic title every year since he joined G2, and for a 2026 season that sends him back to Worlds.

BrokenBlade’s 2026 has been busier and more successful than his 2025. Deep runs at First Stand and MSI on top of three domestic splits have pushed his game count past last year’s, and he is winning far more often than the 59.3% he posted across 2025.

The shape of his games has shifted too. He is farming more and dealing more damage per minute than in 2025, yet his share of G2’s damage and his kill participation have both dipped from last year’s 22.3% and 55.3%. Read together, that points to a top laner getting more resources and more side-lane time while the rest of the team takes a larger part of the fights.

His KDA is almost identical across both years, so the jump in wins has not come from a safer or riskier personal style. His vision per minute is up on 2025, a small but real sign that he is spending more time warding around top-side objectives.

K’Sante is the center of BrokenBlade’s 2026 pool: his most played champion and one of his best records on a real sample. It is a flexible tank that still fights well on its own, which is why G2 keeps it in the first rotation of almost every draft.

Kled is the standout. On a double-digit sample he has the best win rate of any champion he plays regularly, and his damage output on Kled sits near the top of his pool. Rumble and Gnar round out the core: Rumble for magic damage and teamfight zone control, Gnar as a ranged lane option that can flip into a frontline in fights.

Below that core the pool gets wide, with nearly as many champions as the 29 he played in 2025. Shen and Vayne have strong records on samples too small to call, while Anivia, Twisted Fate and Vayne are pocket picks that change G2’s damage profile from top. Yasuo has struggled this year, and Renekton, a career staple, has barely featured.

Over his career, K’Sante and Jax are the champions he has played most in pro games, with Renekton, Gnar and Ornn behind them; Leaguepedia also lists Riven, Irelia and Camille as his signature picks, and Camille returned in the LEC 2026 Summer Playoffs.

His K’Sante build is about staying useful from the first fight to the last. Jak’Sho and The Protean are near-constant opening items, with Iceborn Gauntlet as the usual follow-up. The rune page is Grasp of the Undying with Shield Bash, Second Wind and Overgrowth, plus Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight from Inspiration, all of it buying durability so he can hold a long lane and arrive at objectives at full value.

Kled shows the aggressive side. Titanic Hydra, Black Cleaver and Overlord’s Bloodmail form the core, and Demolish replaces Shield Bash next to Grasp of the Undying. Demolish is a turret rune, which tells you how he uses Kled: win the lane, take plates and towers, and force the opponent to answer the side lane.

On Rumble he builds for burn and sustained magic damage: Liandry’s Torment first, then Shadowflame or Bloodletter’s Curse, with Hextech Rocketbelt and Zhonya’s Hourglass as situational options. Arcane Comet is the keystone on record, though the rune data covers only a few of his Rumble games. Flash and Teleport are his Summoner spells on all three champions, the standard pairing for a top laner who wants to join fights across the map.

His latest games come from G2’s LEC 2026 Summer Playoffs run against Team Vitality, Karmine Corp and Movistar KOI, which ended with the title on 20 September 2026. Across those series he cycled through Rumble, Camille, K’Sante, Olaf, Kled, Shen, Ambessa and Zaahen, a clear sign of how much draft flexibility G2 gets from its top lane.

The career history on record starts with FC Schalke 04 Esports, where BrokenBlade played top from 22 January 2021 to 1 August 2021. His next team was G2 Esports, which he joined on 14 January 2022, and he has held its top lane ever since.

His G2 years are the most successful stretch of his career. He won the LEC 2022 Spring Playoffs in his first split with the organization, finished 3rd–4th at MSI 2022 a few weeks later, and has stayed through the 2026 season.

Over those years his pool has moved away from carry picks such as Jax and Gwen, neither of which has been a regular choice lately, toward K’Sante, now the champion he has played most in pro play. The career table below tracks his teams and dates.

BrokenBlade’s record is built on domestic dominance. With G2 he has won at least one LEC title every year from 2022 to 2026, including the LEC 2023 Season Finals and the LEC 2024 Season Finals, and in 2026 he won the Versus, Spring and Summer Playoffs.

Internationally, the results stop short of a trophy. He finished 3rd–4th at MSI 2022 and the Esports World Cup 2024, 4th at MSI 2024, the Esports World Cup 2025 and MSI 2026, and 2nd at First Stand 2026, his closest call with an international title.

That split defines his standing: one of the most reliable top laners in the LEC, still chasing the international result that would set his career apart. Worlds 2026 is his next chance at it.

BrokenBlade is at Worlds 2026 with G2 Esports, which qualified as EMEA #1. As a Main Event team, G2 starts in the Swiss stage on 23 October 2026, with the Knockouts to follow for the teams that advance. Follow every stage on the Worlds 2026 hub.
