The short version: DK is a jungle-led team that drafts for early skirmishes, plays its best League of Legends on blue side and arrives at Worlds with a fresh international trophy but an uneven LCK playoff run. For the other teams and player features, start from the esports hub.

Current Dplus Kia roster

DK runs a settled starting five. Siwoo, Lucid, ShowMaker, Smash and Career played nearly every game of the season together, so the player numbers on this page describe one lineup rather than a rotating cast. That stability is an asset heading into an international event, where teams have little time to fix communication between new players.

The bench barely touched the Rift. Sharvel filled in at jungle for a handful of games, and a separate five of Jaehyuk, Solid, Garden, Wayne and Loopy appears in the season’s games for a short stint that ended without a win. The coaching staff is Hachani, PoohManDu and CvMax; they coach, they do not play, and they are not part of the lineup.

2026 season record and player stats

Dplus Kia’s 2026 season is a winning one without being dominant. Both the series record and the game record sit on the right side of even, which fits a team that beats most of the LCK but trades results with the very top. The Esports World Cup title and the LCK playoff loss tell the same story: a high ceiling and a floor that moves from week to week.

Side selection matters more for DK than for most teams. They win a clear majority of their games on blue side and fall below even on red, which suggests a draft that wants first pick to lock in its jungle priority. Their games tend to finish in the early thirties, so DK is neither a stomp team nor a pure scaling team; it wins by taking fights it has drafted for.

Smash and Career are the efficiency leaders. Smash posts the best KDA among the starters and the most kills, so DK’s wins usually end with the bot lane holding the gold, while Career’s assist count shows a support who is present in almost every fight. ShowMaker’s line is steady rather than flashy, and Lucid’s high assist total matches the early skirmish style the draft points to.

Siwoo carries the most modest line of the five. That reads less as a warning sign than as a role description: DK’s top-lane pool leans on champions such as K’Sante and Gnar, which trade kill pressure for frontline and teamfight value, and a top laner on those picks rarely tops the KDA column.

Key takeawayHow DK wins in 2026

Three patterns hold across the season’s scoreboards.

  1. Blue side lets DK secure its engage jungler early, and that is where most of its wins come from.
  2. The bot lane of Smash and Career turns those early fights into the team’s main source of damage and gold.
  3. On red side, DK loses more often than it wins, so opponents with side choice tend to push them there.

Draft priorities

Dplus Kia drafts around the jungle. Jarvan IV is the team’s most picked champion and one of its most successful, with Xin Zhao and Vi also in the top ten, so Lucid is almost always on an engage diver that can start fights before the first objectives. On blue side, expect DK to take that jungle pick early and build the rest of the draft around it.

The rest of the pool says control and frontline. Viktor is the main mid pick, Lulu and Bard cover support, and the top-lane rotation runs through K’Sante, Gnar, Jayce and Ambessa. Gnar and K’Sante have delivered the strongest results of that group, while Ambessa and Jayce have struggled, which is worth watching if DK leans on them at Worlds.

The ban list is just as telling. Nocturne is removed in the large majority of DK’s games, far ahead of anything else, which says the team treats a dive jungler with a map-wide ultimate as the one threat it will not play into. Orianna and Azir point to a habit of taking control mages off the table, and Varus and Nautilus are the bot-lane picks DK most often keeps away.

Bard and Jayce sit on both lists. When a champion is both a frequent DK pick and a frequent ban in its games, it marks a contested pick that the team either secures early or denies outright, and those two are the first places to look when you read a DK draft.

Recent form

DK’s late-season form is a story of recovering from setbacks. The team closed the regular season with wins over Gen.G, T1 and KT Rolster, which kept it among the LCK’s contenders, but losses to Hanwha Life Esports and T1 in the same stretch showed the gap to the top was not fully closed.

The playoffs followed the same pattern. DK opened with a sweep loss to KT Rolster, then won two Bo5s in a row, a series against BNK FEARX that went the full distance and a rematch win over KT, before T1 ended the run. KT was the opponent DK met most often in the final weeks, and DK won most of those meetings.

Every game of the playoff run is linked below. The T1 series is the one to watch for how a top Korean team handles DK’s jungle-first drafts, and the BNK FEARX series shows how the team holds up when a Bo5 goes long.

History and titles

Dplus Kia’s history has two clear peaks. The earliest trophy on its record is Rift Rivals 2019 LCK-LPL-LMS-VCS, but the defining year is 2020, when the organization won the LCK Summer split and its playoffs and then Worlds 2020, the world title that still headlines the name. The KeSPA Cup 2020 win followed in early 2021.

The second peak came straight after. In 2021 DK won both LCK splits and both playoff runs, then reached the final at MSI 2021 and at Worlds 2021, finishing second at each. That two-year stretch is the standard every later DK roster is measured against.

The seasons that followed were quieter until DK won LCK 2025 Rounds 3–5, its first domestic stage win since 2021. In July 2026 the team added the Esports World Cup 2026 title, its first international trophy since Worlds 2020. The full list of titles and top-four finishes sits below.
