JiaQi LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

JiaQi is Invictus Gaming’s bot laner, a marksman specialist who turned a losing 2025 into a Worlds 2026 berth. His season stats, champion pool, builds and career, explained.

JiaQi (Zi Jia-Qi, 资嘉琪) is a Chinese League of Legends bot laner who plays for Invictus Gaming in the LPL. Born on 31 May 2004, he came up through Top Esports, where he spent two full years from late 2022. He is known for a deep marksman pool built on Varus, Aphelios, Xayah and Zeri. In JiaQi’s LoL career, 2026 is the turnaround season: after a losing 2025, he joined iG in April and heads to Worlds 2026 with them.

2026 season stats

JiaQi’s 2026 is busier and far more successful than his 2025. He has already played well past last year’s game count, and his win rate sits close to even. In 2025, split between Royal Never Give Up and FunPlus Phoenix, he went 19–53, a 26.4% win rate. That was a season in which almost nothing around him worked.

The shape of his stats changed with the results. He now takes a smaller share of his team’s damage and has a lower kill participation than in 2025. He also earns more gold and more CS per minute. On a losing team, the bot laner often becomes the last source of damage and joins every fight because there is no other plan. On a team that wins more, resources spread out, and the marksman’s job becomes farming safely and arriving at fights with more items than the opponent.

His damage per minute has also risen, which fits a carry with more gold to spend. His KDA is almost identical year on year. The change, then, is mostly about team context, not a different risk profile from JiaQi himself. He is playing the same aggressive marksman style on a roster that converts more of his fights into wins.

JiaQi’s champion pool and pro win rates

Yunara is the center of JiaQi’s 2026 pool. It is his most played champion this season and, on a sample big enough to trust, his most successful one, with a clearly winning record and one of his best KDAs. When iG want a reliable bot lane carry, this is the pick the data backs.

Ashe is the other champion that works on a real sample. His Ashe also has a winning record, and he averages more assists on her than on any of his other regular picks. That tells you how he plays her: Enchanted Crystal Arrow and her slows set up fights for the rest of the team rather than racking up kills for himself.

The warning signs are Jhin, Corki and Ezreal. Jhin is his second most played champion this year and carries one of his best KDAs, yet the record is heavily negative. His individual lines look clean, but those games did not convert into wins. Corki and Ezreal both show losing records, and Corki is the weaker of the two on both record and KDA. If you see JiaQi on Jhin or Corki, read it as a pick made for the team composition rather than a comfort pick.

Further down the list, Sivir is unbeaten across five games. That is the smallest sample worth reading, but it includes the Regional Finals against JD Gaming. Miss Fortune has a winning record but has not been played since 6 May 2026. Aphelios and Caitlyn sit at an even record, and Varus, Kai’Sa, Kalista, Zeri and Tristana all have fewer than five games this year. Treat those as pocket picks, not a verdict either way.

Pro builds

JiaQi’s builds point to one plan: win long fights with sustained attack damage. On Yunara he builds Kraken Slayer in every game. He usually pairs it with Fiendhunter Bolts and Infinity Edge, then adds Lord Dominik’s Regards for armor penetration. Runaan’s Hurricane, Bloodthirster, Guardian Angel and Mortal Reminder appear as situational picks rather than core items.

His Yunara rune page is Lethal Tempo in Precision with Triumph, Legend: Bloodline and Cut Down. All three reward staying in a fight and shooting into frontline. The Inspiration secondary takes Cash Back and Triple Tonic, so he gives up a defensive secondary tree for small economic and stat gains. Cleanse with Flash shows he expects to be hunted by crowd control and wants to keep hitting through it.

Jhin is the exception to the pattern. Infinity Edge and Rapid Firecannon are near-constant, with Lord Dominik’s Regards and Hexoptics C44 behind them, and the keystone switches to Fleet Footwork with Presence of Mind. That is a safer, range-first setup that values positioning and movement over standing in a fight. He still takes Cleanse and Flash.

On Ashe, Phantom Dancer is the anchor item in every game and Lethal Tempo returns, but he swaps Cleanse for Barrier. Ashe plays from the back line and starts fights with her arrow. That suggests the main threat on her is burst from divers rather than chained crowd control, which is what Barrier answers.

The lesson you can take into Ranked Solo/Duo is the summoner spell choice. Take Cleanse when the enemy team’s crowd control decides whether you live, and Barrier when the danger is a dive that kills you in one burst. Before you copy a pro item path, check the latest patch notes for item changes, and use the MID.GG guides for the matchup details a pro build cannot show.

JiaQi’s LoL career so far

JiaQi’s first listed team is Top Esports, which he joined on 10 November 2022. He stayed until 15 December 2024, by far the longest stint of his career so far. All of his professional career has been spent in China, and all of it in the bot lane.

2025 was the difficult year. He moved to Royal Never Give Up on 16 December 2024 and left on 22 May 2025. He then joined FunPlus Phoenix from 19 July 2025 to 21 September 2025. Across those two rosters he won barely a quarter of his games, and his stats from that season show a marksman carrying a large share of his team’s damage without the results to match.

He returned to Top Esports on 15 December 2025, but that second stint ended on 8 March 2026. Less than a month later, on 4 April 2026, he joined Invictus Gaming. The iG move has been the most productive of his recent career: a near-even season record, a place in the LPL 2026 Grand Finals and Regional Finals, and a ticket to Worlds.
