Josedeodo LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Team Liquid’s Argentine jungler won the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs and heads to Worlds 2026. His season stats, champion pool, pro builds and career from Furious Gaming to Team Liquid.

Josedeodo is an Argentine League of Legends jungler who plays for Team Liquid in North America, and the reigning LCS champion after the organization won the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs on 4 October 2026. Born Brandon Joel Villegas, he made his name in Latin America, winning LLA titles with Rainbow7 and Estral Esports, before his second stint in North America. He plays an aggressive, fight-first jungle style, and his career staple is Lee Sin, the champion he has played more than any other in pro play.

His first season with Team Liquid has been the most productive of his career on the stat sheet, and it continues at Worlds 2026.

2026 season stats

Josedeodo’s 2026 is busier and far more successful than his 2025. He has already played more pro games this year than in the whole of last season, when he went 34–31 for a 52.3% win rate across his time with Isurus Estral and Isurus, and his 2026 win rate sits well above that mark.

The bigger change is how much of each game runs through him. His share of his team’s damage, his kill participation and his gold per minute are all up on 2025, while his deaths per game have held level. More involvement with no extra risk is what a jungler on a winning roster looks like: he is turning early pressure into fights he is present for, rather than trading his life for tempo.

His KDA also rose from the 4.58 he posted in 2025, and his vision per minute ticked up. That last detail is small but telling, because it suggests the extra fights come with better map control instead of coin-flip skirmishes in the dark.

Champion pool and pro win rates

Jarvan IV is his most played champion of 2026, but not his best: his wins and losses on him are split evenly. Jarvan fits almost any composition and rarely gets banned out of reach, which is why he keeps getting drafted without a standout win rate.

Pantheon is the champion that has carried his season. On a sample of more than ten games he has won the large majority, and his damage per minute on Pantheon is the highest of any champion he has played more than a handful of times. Pantheon rewards a jungler who wants to force fights early, which matches everything the season stats say about him.

Lee Sin and Naafiri are the other two champions with a real sample and near-perfect records. Lee Sin is the expected one, his signature for years. Naafiri is the more interesting answer: an assassin more often seen in mid that he has turned into a reliable jungle pick, with one of the best KDAs in his pool.

Wukong and Nocturne have both returned winning records on solid samples, while Vi and Xin Zhao have been his problem picks, both sitting below an even record this year. Vi is the odd case, because over his whole career she is his second most played champion and a winning one.

Qiyana is the pocket pick to watch. He brought her out in the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs and has not lost on her yet, but the sample is far too small to call her a strength. Treat her as a draft weapon Team Liquid saved for the playoffs rather than a comfort pick.

For a climbing jungler, the lesson is the shape of the pool rather than any single champion. Josedeodo leans on a core of early-fighting junglers who share a game plan, then adds one or two picks that punish specific drafts. If you are building your own jungle pool, pick two or three champions that want the same kind of game and learn them deeply; our jungle guides cover the fundamentals behind that approach.

Pro builds

The builds on his three most played champions tell one story: he wants to fight early and keep fighting. Jarvan IV, Pantheon and Xin Zhao all run Conqueror with a Precision primary tree and an Inspiration secondary, all take Flash and Smite, and all build around Sundered Sky and Black Cleaver.

Sundered Sky and Black Cleaver are bruiser items that reward long, extended fights rather than one-shot burst, so the build only works if he is in the middle of the skirmish. Guardian Angel shows up often as a third item on Jarvan IV and Pantheon, a defensive choice that lets him engage first and still survive the follow-up. On Xin Zhao he mixes in more options, from Death’s Dance to Sterak’s Gage and Titanic Hydra.

Inside the rune page, Triumph, Cosmic Insight, Magical Footwear and the Health Scaling shard are constants. Jarvan IV and Pantheon take Legend: Haste and Cut Down, while Xin Zhao swaps to Legend: Alacrity and Last Stand, choices that lean into extended trades on a champion who wins by staying in the fight.

TipCopying the build in ranked

If you play these champions in Ranked Solo/Duo, the core to copy is Conqueror with Sundered Sky and Black Cleaver, then Guardian Angel when you are the one starting fights. Check the latest patch notes before you lock it in, since item values shift from patch to patch.

Josedeodo’s LoL career

Josedeodo’s career started with Furious Gaming, where he played jungle from 20 January 2018 to 31 August 2019. He moved to Rainbow7 on 15 February 2020 and won his first title there, the LLA 2020 Closing Playoffs, on 29 August 2020, the same day his time with the organization ended.

That title earned him his first move to North America. He joined FlyQuest on 15 January 2021 and stayed until 11 September 2022, two years in the LCS that did not bring a trophy but gave him experience against a higher level of opposition.

He returned to Latin America with Estral Esports on 24 January 2023, and that stint became the most decorated stretch of his career: the LLA 2023 Opening, the LLA 2024 Opening and the LLA 2024 Opening Playoffs all went his way before he left on 24 August 2024. In 2025 he played for Isurus Estral from 25 January to 15 June, winning the LTA South 2025 Split 1, then for Isurus from 26 July to 7 September.

Team Liquid signed him on 6 December 2025. In his first year with the organization he played at MSI 2026 and won the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs, completing the move from regional champion in Latin America to champion in North America. Profiles of his teammates and rivals sit in our esports hub.

Achievements

The LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs title is the result that changes his standing: it is his first trophy in North America, won on his second attempt in the region after the FlyQuest years. It turns him from a proven Latin American champion into a jungler who has won at the top of the LCS.

Before that, his record in Latin America was consistent across eras and teams. He won with Rainbow7 in 2020, with Estral Esports in both 2023 and 2024, and with Isurus Estral in the first split of LTA South in 2025, so his titles do not depend on a single roster.
