Team Liquid Roster, History and Worlds 2026

The current Team Liquid roster won the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs and heads to Worlds 2026 as North America’s first seed. Here is the lineup, how it drafts, how it wins and the titles behind it.

The current Team Liquid roster is the LCS champion: the North American organization won the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs on 4 October 2026 and goes to Worlds 2026 as North America’s first seed. The five who got it there are Morgan, Josedeodo, Quid, Yeon and CoreJJ, a lineup that carried one of the most consistent records in the league from summer into the playoffs.

Current Team Liquid roster

Team Liquid runs a settled five: Morgan in the top lane, Josedeodo in the jungle, Quid in mid, Yeon on bot and CoreJJ at support. The lineup mixes a veteran support who has been with the organization through several of its title runs with a younger carry core in mid and bot.

The coaching staff is Spookz and Spawn. They run the draft and preparation side of the team; neither plays, so the starting lineup is the five players listed below.

    • Top Morgan
    • Jgl Josedeodo
    • Mid Quid
    • Bot Yeon
    • Sup CoreJJ

The most useful thing to know about this roster is its stability. The same five players have started every game of the 2026 season so far, so the player stats below describe one lineup, not a rotation. That matters for reading the numbers: synergy between Josedeodo and the solo laners, and between Yeon and CoreJJ in the bot lane, has had a full year of reps behind it.

2026 season: record and player stats

Team Liquid’s 2026 season is a winning one by a clear margin, in series and in individual games. The shape of the record says more than the totals: losses came mostly in the regular season, while the playoff run that decided the title was close to flawless.

Side selection is the sharpest split in the data. Team Liquid is far stronger on blue side than on red, and the gap is wide enough that it should shape how opponents use side choice in a series. When Team Liquid has first pick, it gets its comfort champions, and its results reflect that; on red side, games turn closer to a coin flip.

Game length sits in a normal range for pro play. Team Liquid does not depend on snowballing a lead in the first 20 minutes, nor does it need to drag every game into a late teamfight; it closes when its compositions hit their power spikes.

Who carries Team Liquid

The damage comes from mid and bot, while the jungle and support hold the structure together. Quid leads the team in kills per game, with Yeon close behind, which tells you the team funnels its resources and its skirmish wins toward those two lanes.

Josedeodo posts the best KDA on the roster, a sign of a jungler who picks his fights well and rarely dies for nothing. CoreJJ leads the team in assists by a distance, which fits his role as the engage and vision anchor. Morgan’s line is the most modest, typical of a top laner asked to hold his side of the map on tanks and bruisers rather than to carry.

Key takeawayHow Team Liquid wins

Three patterns run through the 2026 season.

  1. Blue side is the team’s comfort zone, so first pick and side choice matter more against Team Liquid than against most teams.
  2. Quid and Yeon take the kills, while Josedeodo and CoreJJ set up the fights that feed them.
  3. Morgan plays a stabilizing role in the top lane instead of a carry role.

Draft priorities

Ryze is the centerpiece of Team Liquid’s draft. It is the team’s most picked champion of the season and one of its most successful, a flexible pick that can go mid or top and hides the rest of the composition until late in the draft. Pantheon fills a similar flex role, and both reward a team that likes to keep options open through the second phase.

The rest of the pick list shows a team that drafts for engage and early skirmishes. Jarvan IV in the jungle, Rakan at support, and Renekton and Rumble in the top lane all want to fight around objectives. On bot, Ashe, Lucian and Xayah give Yeon a mix of utility and lane pressure, and Xayah next to Rakan points to a bot pair that leans on the classic duo when it is open.

Cassiopeia is the champion most often removed in Team Liquid’s games, and the ban list leans heavily toward mid lane and jungle threats. Orianna and Jarvan IV appear on both the pick and ban lists, which marks them as contested: if Team Liquid does not take them, they are denied. Varus, Nocturne, Jayce and Vi round out the most frequent bans, a set of picks that can punish a team built around front-to-back fights.

For solo queue players, the lesson from this draft is simple: flexible picks like Ryze and Pantheon are valuable in pro play because they hide information, not because they are the strongest champion in every lane. Recent form

Team Liquid enters Worlds on a strong run. The summer regular season finished with a string of clean wins, including over Cloud9, Sentinels, FlyQuest and Dignitas, with a single series loss to LYON and a close win over Shopify Rebellion in between.

The playoffs were the high point. Team Liquid beat FlyQuest without dropping a game, then beat Cloud9, then won the final against LYON, the team that had handed it its last regular-season loss. Turning that result around in a best-of-five is the clearest sign of how well the team adapts across a series. Every game of the playoff run is linked below if you want to watch the drafts and teamfights for yourself.

History and titles

Team Liquid is one of the most decorated organizations in North American League of Legends. Its first domestic title came in the NA LCS 2015 Summer, and it reached the IEM Season 11 Gyeonggi top four in 2016, but the era that defines the organization started in 2018.

From 2018 to 2019, Team Liquid won the spring and summer playoffs in both years and became the team to beat in North America. The peak of that run was a second-place finish at MSI 2019, the organization’s best international result, alongside runner-up finishes at Rift Rivals NA-EU in 2018 and 2019.

The titles kept coming after that era. Team Liquid won the LCS 2020 Summer, the LCS Lock In in both 2021 and 2022, and the LCS 2022 Spring. A second strong period followed in 2024 with the LCS 2024 Spring Playoffs, a top-four finish at the Esports World Cup 2024 and the LCS 2024 Summer, before the LTA 2025 Split 1 Playoffs title and now the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs.
