Best Junglers in League of Legends: Jungle Tier List

Cho’Gath, Wukong and Briar lead our jungle tier list, with Rammus and Shyvana completing an S tier where every pick wins 52.0% or more. Ranked by our own win and pick rates as of 6 October 2026.

The best junglers in League of Legends right now are Cho’Gath, Wukong and Briar, with Rammus and Shyvana completing an S tier where every pick wins at least 52.0% of its games. Lillia, Amumu and Warwick lead the A tier just behind them.

We built this jungle tier list from about 1.27 million ranked jungle games as of 6 October 2026, scoring each champion on win rate (shrunk toward the average by sample size) plus a small pick-rate bonus, and leaving out picks under 1,000 games, under 1% of the role, or played mostly in another role.

Top picks right now

All five S tier junglers clear 52% while drawing a meaningful share of the role, which is what pushes them past the rest of the field.

  • Cho’Gath tops the score at 52.3% WR across 86,167 games and a 6.8% pick rate, the best mix of winning and volume in the role.
  • Wukong holds 52.1% WR over 97,194 games at a 7.67% pick rate, so his number rests on one of the deepest samples in the tier.
  • Briar wins 52.2% of 86,833 games at a 6.86% pick rate, nearly matching Cho’Gath on every axis.
  • Rammus posts the highest win rate on the whole list, 52.5% WR, though his 44,227 games are the smallest sample in S tier.
  • Shyvana is the most played S tier jungler at 99,269 games, holding 52.0% WR with a 7.84% pick rate.

Full jungle tier list

The score rewards winning first and popularity second, which explains the biggest surprises. Master Yi is the most played jungler on the whole list at 127,163 games, yet his 50.8% WR keeps him in A tier below less popular picks like Bel’Veth and Sejuani.

The same logic holds further down. Kayn is the most played B tier pick at 114,322 games but sits at 49.4% WR, and Lee Sin, the most played D tier jungler at 67,441 games, finishes last on the list at 46.2% WR. A big player base means the number is reliable, not that the pick is strong.

How we rank

Ranked by a score combining win rate and pick rate; within a tier, by score.

Ranked games from our champion stats in this role. Win rate is shrunk toward the average by sample size, plus a small pick-rate bonus; champions under 1,000 games or 1% of the role's games, and off-role picks (under 15% of the champion's games, unless played in over 20,000), are left out. Sample: 1,266,584.5 games.

  • Cho'Gath: Cho'Gath leads the score with 52.3% WR over 86,167 games, the best balance of win rate and volume in the role.
  • Wukong: Wukong pairs 52.1% WR with 97,194 games, one of the most reliable samples in S tier.
  • Briar: Briar earns S tier with 52.2% WR across 86,833 games at a 6.86% pick rate.
  • Lillia: Lillia has the highest win rate in A tier at 51.8% WR across 60,780 games, just short of the S tier cutoff.
  • Amumu: Amumu holds 51.7% WR over 59,269 games, enough for a high A tier spot.
  • Warwick: Warwick's 51.4% WR on 90,822 games and a 7.17% pick rate make him one of the best-sampled A tier picks.
  • Diana: Diana tops C tier on score at 49.0% WR across 43,160 games.
  • Ivern: Ivern has the highest C tier win rate at 49.1% WR, but his 14,180 games are the smallest sample in the tier.
  • Vi: Vi lands in C tier with 48.9% WR over 48,284 games.
  • Rengar: Rengar has the highest D tier win rate at 47.1% WR over 44,972 games, still well below the role's average.
  • Nidalee: Nidalee sits at 47.1% WR on 19,262 games, the smallest sample in D tier.
  • Qiyana: Qiyana's 46.9% WR across 51,285 games keeps her near the bottom of the jungle list.

Tier breakdown

S tier

Every S tier jungler wins 52.0% or more of its games on a large sample, the clearest edge in the role. Pick from here when you want a jungler that is winning in ranked right now and you are willing to learn or already play one of them.

A tier

A tier junglers sit between roughly 50% and 52% WR, a small step below S tier, and include the two most played junglers on the list in Master Yi and Viego. Pick from here when one of them is already in your pool or fits your team better than an S tier option.

B tier

B tier is the widest band, with junglers clustered around 49% to 51% WR. These are fine picks in ranked when you know them well, but the data gives them no edge, so comfort should decide.

C tier

C tier junglers win slightly under half their games, between about 47% and 49% WR. Play them only when they are your strongest champion, and expect to work harder for wins than on higher-tier picks.

D tier

D tier junglers win around 46% to 47% of their games, the lowest rates in the role. Avoid them for climbing unless you have deep mastery, since the data shows a clear deficit.

How to use this tier list

Treat the tiers as a shortlist, not an order. A jungler you have 100 games on in B tier will usually outperform an S tier pick you are learning in ranked, because the gap between tiers here is a few percentage points while the gap between a comfort pick and a new one is often larger. Draft around your team as well: if your top laner and mid laner are both locked into damage, a frontline jungler from S or A tier fills the hole better than another carry.

TipBuilding a two-champion jungle pool

Pick one S or A tier jungler as your main and a second from any tier that you already play well. Check each pick’s page in the champion database before queueing, and revisit this list after the next round of patch notes, since we rebuild it every patch from fresh ranked games.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best jungler in League of Legends right now?

Cho’Gath tops our jungle tier list as of 6 October 2026, with 52.3% WR across 86,167 ranked games. Wukong and Briar sit just behind him, and Rammus and Shyvana complete the S tier. Every S tier jungler wins at least 52.0% of games while holding a solid pick rate in the role.

Which jungler has the highest win rate?

Rammus has the highest win rate of any jungler on our list at 52.5% WR as of 6 October 2026. His sample of 44,227 games is the smallest in S tier, so his number is slightly less settled than Cho’Gath’s or Wukong’s, but it still places him firmly among the top junglers.

Is Lee Sin a good jungler to climb with?

By our data Lee Sin is the weakest jungler on the list, sitting in D tier at 46.2% WR across 67,441 ranked games as of 6 October 2026. He remains the most played D tier pick, so if you already know him well you can still win, but new players should start elsewhere.

How is the jungle tier list ranked?

We score each jungler on ranked win rate, shrunk toward the average by sample size, plus a small bonus for pick rate. Champions under 1,000 games or 1% of the role’s games are left out, as are off-role picks. Within each tier, champions appear in score order, and we rebuild the list every patch.

Why is Master Yi only A tier if so many people play him?

Master Yi is the most played jungler on our list at 127,163 games, but his 50.8% WR trails the S tier picks. Our score weighs win rate far more than popularity, so a high pick rate only adds a small bonus. That is enough for A tier, not enough to reach S.
