Canna LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Canna, Karmine Corp’s Korean top laner, brings an LCK title with T1 and a string of LEC trophies into Worlds 2026. Here are his season stats, champion pool, builds and career.

Canna (Kim Chang-dong) is a South Korean League of Legends top laner who plays for Karmine Corp in the LEC, the EMEA league. He made his name at T1, where he won the LCK 2020 Spring Playoffs and finished 3rd–4th at Worlds 2021. Since moving to Europe he has become the anchor of a Karmine Corp roster that won LEC titles in both 2025 and 2026.

His identity is lane-first carry play on champions such as Jayce, Rumble and Gnar, with a tank like Sion ready when the draft needs a front line. He is a top laner who wants resources, wins his side of the map and then turns that lead into teamfights.

2026 season stats

Canna’s 2026 has been busier and more successful than his 2025. Karmine Corp has played more games this year, and he is winning a larger share of them than the 59.3% he posted across 108 games last season.

The shape of those wins has shifted. He deals more damage per minute, farms harder and places more vision than in 2025, yet his share of team damage and his kill participation sit a touch lower, and his KDA has dipped slightly. That pattern points to a top laner who is taking more gold on the side of the map while the team’s kills come from elsewhere.

He has also played a wider pool than in 2025. That fits a year with more best-of series and more international games, where opponents have more time to target a narrow champion list.

Canna champions: pool and pro win rates

Rumble is the center of Canna’s 2026 pool. It is his most played champion this year by a clear margin, and it has kept a strong win rate on a sample large enough to trust. When Karmine Corp gets Rumble for him, the plan is simple: win lane, set up zone control with the ultimate and anchor the fight around objectives.

Gnar is the other pillar. It has the best record of his regular picks this season, which stands out because his career Gnar numbers are much closer to even. Sion, Ambessa and Renekton fill out the core on solid samples: Sion as the front-line answer, Ambessa as the aggressive lane bully, and Renekton as a champion that has been a coin flip for him this year.

Jayce, one of his signature champions, sits just below those with a healthy record. Aurora is the pick that has not worked: it is his weakest result on a real sample. Further down the list, Yone, Akali and Kennen are unbeaten pocket picks, but none has reached five games, so treat them as surprise options rather than proven weapons. Twisted Fate and Vayne round out the counterpicks he can pull in specific drafts.

Pro builds

Canna’s builds say he wants long teamfights where his damage or his body stays on the map. On Rumble, Liandry’s Torment is the constant, usually paired with Zhonya’s Hourglass, then Shadowflame, Hextech Rocketbelt or Bloodletter’s Curse. That is a burn-mage path built to stack damage over time in extended fights, with Zhonya’s buying the seconds his ultimate needs to do its work.

His Rumble runes go a less common route: First Strike in Inspiration, with Cash Back, Triple Tonic and Cosmic Insight, plus Nimbus Cloak and Celerity from Sorcery. The page rewards winning trades early and turns lane leads into extra gold, which matches how he plays the champion.

On Gnar, Trinity Force is the first and fixed item, followed by Sterak’s Gage, then Black Cleaver, Randuin’s Omen or Wit’s End depending on what the enemy team threatens. The rune page is Precision with Legend: Alacrity and Cut Down, backed by Bone Plating and Overgrowth from Resolve. It is a bruiser setup that keeps Gnar alive through his transformations instead of an all-in damage build.

Sion is the pure tank option. Unending Despair and Spirit Visage lead, with Thornmail and Sunfire Aegis as follow-ups, on Grasp of the Undying with Shield Bash, Second Wind and Revitalize. Every one of the three champions runs Flash and Teleport, which tells you he values cross-map plays and bot-side fights over lane kill pressure.

TipWhat to copy into your own games

If you play Rumble top, his Liandry’s Torment into Zhonya’s Hourglass path is a reliable template for teamfight-heavy games. Item values move with balance changes, so check the latest patch notes before you lock in a pro build, and use our guides for matchup-specific adjustments.

Career: Canna’s LoL path from T1 to Karmine Corp

Canna’s career began at T1, which he joined on 23 December 2019. In his first split he won the LCK 2020 Spring Playoffs, and he stayed with the organization until 6 November 2021, the date of T1’s 3rd–4th place finish at Worlds 2021.

The next two years were shorter stints in Korea. He played for Nongshim RedForce from 12 January 2022 to 14 August 2022, then for Dplus Kia from 18 January 2023 to 19 November 2023.

On 8 June 2024 he joined Karmine Corp and moved to the LEC. That move has produced the most successful stretch of his career, with domestic titles in 2025 and 2026 and deep runs at international events.
