Duro LoL: Gen.G Support Career, Champions & Worlds

Gen.G support Duro won MSI 2025 in his first year with the organization. Here are his 2026 champion pool, pro builds, career titles and Worlds 2026 schedule.

Duro is a South Korean League of Legends support who starts for Gen.G, the LCK organization he joined on 30 November 2024. Born Joo Min-kyu (주민규) on 4 February 2002, he went from short stints on smaller rosters to winning MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025 in his first year at Gen.G. He built his name on engage supports such as Rakan, Nautilus and Alistar, but in 2026 he has leaned on a wider set of mages and enchanters while Gen.G kept collecting LCK titles.

His path is an unusual one for a top-level support: only brief stops on his record before 2025, then a starting spot on the roster that won MSI 2025, which he has kept into a second season. The card below lists his current team, role and socials.

2026 season stats

Duro is winning more often in 2026 than in 2025, when he went 117–50 with Gen.G for a 70.1% win rate. The bigger change is how he plays. He dies less, his KDA is higher, and he deals a slightly larger share of Gen.G’s damage than last year, which tracks with the shift toward damage-dealing supports like Seraphine and Karma.

His vision per minute is also up, while his kill participation sits close to last season’s level. The game count is lower only because the 2026 season is still running, with Worlds still to come, so judge the year on rates rather than totals.

TipReading a support's stat line

For a support, kills and CS say little. Watch deaths, vision per minute and kill participation: they show whether he is setting up plays and surviving them, which is the part of his game you can copy in ranked.

Duro’s champion pool and pro win rates

Seraphine is Duro’s most played champion this season, with Bard and Karma close behind, and that trio defines his 2026: a support who brings poke, sustain and roaming threat rather than pure engage. All three carry winning records on double-digit samples, so none of them is a comfort pick he forces through bad drafts.

The picks that work best on a real sample are Rakan, Neeko and Bard. Rakan has the highest win rate of his double-digit picks this year, which fits a champion he has played more than any other across his career. Neeko is the damage outlier: a flex mage taken into the support role that hits far harder than his enchanters.

Shen is the surprise. A top laner played as a support, he gives Gen.G a global ultimate to protect a side laner or join a fight from across the map, and Duro has a winning record on him over a solid sample. That makes Shen a real draft option rather than a one-off.

Below that sit the pocket picks. Camille support is unbeaten this season and Leona has no losses either, but both are on too few games to call strong, while Milio is the one regular pick with only an even record. Alistar came back for the playoff final on 13 September 2026, a reminder that the engage side of his pool is still there when the draft asks for it.

For opponents, the breadth matters more than any single champion. Banning Seraphine or Bard does not take away his comfort, because he can move to Karma, Rakan or Neeko without a drop in results.

Comparing the two tables shows the shift. Karma and Lulu carry losing career records, yet both have winning records this season, while the engage staples now appear in smaller doses and only when the draft calls for a hook or a knock-up.

Pro builds on Seraphine, Bard and Karma

Duro’s enchanter builds share one spine: Echoes of Helia on Seraphine and Karma, and Mikael’s Blessing on all three of his top champions. Mikael’s Blessing is the item a support buys to cleanse crowd control off a carry, so its presence everywhere says he plans fights around keeping Gen.G’s damage dealers alive rather than around his own kills.

Seraphine and Karma run Summon Aery in Sorcery with Inspiration secondary, both with Transcendence, Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight. Seraphine adds Manaflow Band and Gathering Storm for value in longer games, while Karma takes Nimbus Cloak and Scorch for lane pressure. Diadem of Songs and Moonstone Renewer complete the healing-and-shielding package.

Bard is built for a different job. Electrocute in Domination with Cheap Shot, Deep Ward and Relentless Hunter is a roaming setup: extra movement between plays and burst when he lands a stun. Locket of the Iron Solari and Bandlepipes then turn his items toward the team’s fights. All three champions take Flash and Heal, so the Heal sits on Duro and his bot laner can take a different second spell.

TipCopy the spine, not the whole build

If you play Seraphine or Karma support, Echoes of Helia with Mikael’s Blessing is the pro default; drop Mikael’s Blessing when the enemy has little crowd control to cleanse. Check item changes in the patch notes and our guides before taking a pro build into ranked.

Recent pro games

Duro’s latest games come from the LCK 2026 Season Playoffs against KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports, the run that ended with the title on 13 September 2026. He rarely repeated a pick: Seraphine and Karma early in the run, Neeko and Shen in the middle, then Alistar, Yuumi, Renata Glasc and Milio in the final.

Every game in the table has a Watch link. The final is the best place to see how he changes his champion to fit the draft rather than forcing a favorite.

Career

Duro’s career before Gen.G is short. His first listed team is Liiv SANDBOX Challengers, where his stint ran only from 10 to 12 December 2021. His next stop was BNK FEARX, where he played support from 12 June to 8 September 2024.

Gen.G signed him on 30 November 2024, and the move turned a support with little top-level history into a starter on one of the most decorated rosters in Korea. His first season there brought domestic titles, MSI 2025, the Esports World Cup 2025 and a 3rd–4th finish at Worlds 2025.

2026 has followed the same pattern. At home, Gen.G won the LCK Cup 2026, LCK 2026 Rounds 3–4 and the LCK 2026 Season Playoffs; abroad, the team finished 3rd–4th at First Stand 2026 and 3rd at the Esports World Cup 2026. Results for every league and event are on the esports hub.

Achievements

The two results that define Duro’s standing are MSI 2025, won on 12 July 2025, and the Esports World Cup 2025 that followed on 20 July 2025. Winning both in his first year with a new organization put him among the most successful supports of that season.

Domestically, he has won both the LCK 2025 Season Playoffs and the LCK 2026 Season Playoffs, which makes him a back-to-back Korean playoff champion. That consistency is the strongest argument for his level, since playoff titles come through the toughest series of each year.

The gap is the World Championship. Worlds 2025 ended at 3rd–4th, and Gen.G’s 2026 international events, First Stand and the Esports World Cup, also stopped short of a title, so Worlds 2026 is where his record has the most room to grow.

Key takeawayDuro in three lines

What to remember about Gen.G’s support:

  1. He won MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025 in his first season with Gen.G.
  2. His 2026 pool leans on Seraphine, Bard and Karma, with engage staples like Rakan and Alistar kept for specific drafts.
  3. A Worlds title is the one major result missing from his record.
