Jojopyun LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Jojopyun is Movistar KOI’s Canadian mid laner, a title winner in both the LCS and the LEC. His 2026 stats, champion pool, builds, career and Worlds 2026 schedule.

Jojopyun is the mid laner for Movistar KOI, the EMEA organization he joined on 18 January 2025. Born Joseph Joon Pyun in Canada, he made his name in the LCS with Evil Geniuses, where he won two domestic titles in 2022 and finished 3rd–4th at MSI 2022. Since moving to Europe he has added two LEC titles in 2025. He plays a broad, mage-heavy pool built around Azir, Taliyah, Ryze and Ahri, with Yone as his main melee option.

2026 season stats

Jojopyun’s 2026 is close to a copy of 2025 on results and a step up on output. He has played a slightly busier schedule than last year, and his win rate sits close to the 53.2% he finished 2025 on. Movistar KOI won titles at that level in 2025, so holding it is not a decline.

The improvement is in efficiency. His KDA is higher than last season, he deals more damage per minute, and he farms a little faster. His vision per minute has also gone up, a small sign that he is spending more time on map control around objectives rather than only on his own lane.

His share of the team’s damage has dipped slightly from 2025, and his kill participation is a touch lower too. Read together with the higher damage per minute, those lines say Movistar KOI spreads its carry load a little more widely this year: Jojopyun produces more damage in absolute terms, but his teammates produce more as well.

He has also used a narrower pool than in 2025, when he played 20 different champions. A smaller pool alongside a better KDA usually reflects a draft that leans on fewer, more practiced picks rather than chasing every new option.

Champion pool and pro win rates

The story of Jojopyun’s 2026 champions is a gap between the picks he plays most and the picks that win most. Ryze and Azir are his two most played champions of the year, and both carry losing records. The champions further down the list have delivered far better results.

Taliyah is the standout, with his best record of the season on a meaningful sample. Anivia and Akali also sit well above his overall win rate across ten or more games each, and Galio and Cassiopeia complete a group of winning picks on smaller but still usable samples.

There is a clear pattern behind those results. Taliyah, Anivia and Galio are champions built to roam, zone and start fights, and all three post far more assists per game than his Ryze or Azir. When Movistar KOI drafts him a control or utility mage that joins fights early, the team wins more often than when he takes a lane-focused scaler and is asked to carry from mid.

Viktor is the odd one out: an even record, but his highest damage per minute of any champion this year. Ahri, Yone and Orianna sit at or below an even record. Syndra, Twisted Fate, Sylas and Lissandra have too few games this season to judge either way.

Key takeawayReading his draft

His 2026 results point to a clear split in how his champions perform.

  1. Taliyah, Anivia and Galio, the fight-starting mages, have produced his best results this year.
  2. Ryze and Azir are his most played picks but have lost more than they have won in 2026.
  3. Viktor brings his biggest damage numbers, yet the record on him is only even.

Pro builds

Jojopyun’s builds favor staying power and scaling over a single early item spike. On all three of his top champions he picks items and runes that keep him alive in long fights, and the Summoner spells show where he wants to have an impact.

Ryze

On Ryze he builds Rod of Ages into Seraph’s Embrace, usually adds Actualizer, and wears Chainlaced Crushers. It is a health-and-mana stack that pays off as the game goes long. The runes follow the same logic: Deathfire Touch in Sorcery with a Resolve secondary of Bone Plating and Unflinching. He pairs Flash with Ghost instead of Teleport, which gives Ryze the movement to reposition during drawn-out teamfights.

Azir

His Azir is an attack-speed build. Nashor’s Tooth comes first, Lethal Tempo is the keystone alongside Presence of Mind and Legend: Alacrity, and the next slot goes to Hextech Rocketbelt or Shadowflame, with Zhonya’s Hourglass for safety. Rocketbelt adds another engage or escape tool on top of Azir’s own dash, and Teleport keeps him connected to side-lane plays.

Anivia

Anivia shares the Rod of Ages and Seraph’s Embrace core with his Ryze, with Crimson Lucidity on boots and Malignance or Zhonya’s Hourglass after that. The rune page is different: Electrocute in Domination with a Sorcery secondary, a setup that punishes short trades in lane, plus Teleport to join fights across the map.

Career so far

Jojopyun’s career runs through three organizations in two regions. He joined Evil Geniuses on 14 January 2022 and stayed until 20 August 2023. That spell produced the LCS 2022 Spring Playoffs and LCS 2022 Summer titles, plus a 3rd–4th place finish at MSI 2022.

He moved to Cloud9 for 2024, joining on 20 January 2024 and leaving on 7 September 2024. On 18 January 2025 he joined Movistar KOI, his first team outside North America, and won the LEC 2025 Spring Playoffs on 8 June 2025 and LEC 2025 Summer on 26 August 2025.

That makes 2026 his second season in Europe. The season stats show he has held the level of his title-winning first year while producing more damage, which is a solid platform for an international event.
