2026 season stats

Morgan’s 2026 is a clear turnaround from 2025. In his final year with OKSavingsBank BRION he went 40–64, a 38.5% win rate. With Team Liquid he has played a similar number of games but is winning far more of them, dying less often and posting a much better KDA than the 2.69 he finished 2025 with.

His role in the team has also shifted. In 2025 he took 22.6% of his team’s damage. This season his damage share and kill participation are both lower, while his CS/min, gold and vision per minute are all up. That reads as a top laner who is farming cleanly and staying alive, not one forced to carry a struggling roster. He is also drawing on a wider pool of champions than he did in 2025.

The takeaway is that his efficiency improved even as his share of the damage fell. A top laner who dies less and supports the map more is worth more to a winning team, even if his raw damage numbers are flatter. The season-stats table sets 2026 against 2025 line by line.

Morgan champions and pro win rates

Renekton and Rumble are Morgan’s most played champions of 2026, with Gnar right behind them. Renekton carries a winning record, which matches its place as his signature pick. Rumble is the damage outlier among his top three, the champion he picks when Team Liquid wants a teamfight engine from the top side. Gnar sits closer to an even split and works as a flexible, safe blind option rather than a win condition.

His best results on a real sample come from two very different champions. Ornn has been close to unbeaten across 11 games, the clearest sign that the frontline tank style suits this Team Liquid roster. Ambessa has also won almost every time he has played her this year, a sharp change from her losing record across his career.

Sion and Jax have also produced winning records on samples worth noting. Jax is a useful case: he has a losing career record on the champion, but a winning one this season, including in the playoffs. Camille became a playoff staple late in the year, showing up repeatedly in the final rounds.

The rest of the pool is mostly pocket picks. K’Sante and Shen are unbeaten so far, while Gragas, Jayce and Yorick have not worked. All five sit below five games this season, so none of them says much about strength or weakness yet.

Across his career, Renekton is the clear signature, well ahead of Ornn, Gnar, K’Sante and Aatrox, the other champions he has relied on most since 2019.

Key takeawayWhat Morgan's pool tells you

The 2026 pool splits into lane bullies, teamfight tanks and late-year duelists, and Team Liquid drafts across all three.

  1. Renekton and Rumble are his comfort core: expect one of them whenever the draft allows.
  2. Ornn and Sion cover the frontline role when Team Liquid needs engage and peel instead of damage.
  3. Camille, Ambessa and Jax are the side-lane threats he reached for most when the title was on the line.

Pro builds

Morgan’s builds favor durability and extended fights over burst. On Renekton, Sterak’s Gage and Black Cleaver form the core, with Stridebreaker as an alternative first item and Spear of Shojin or Death’s Dance filling later slots. He runs Conqueror with a Resolve secondary built on Second Wind and Unflinching. That setup is meant to win long trades and survive lane pressure, not to one-shot a target.

Rumble is built around Liandry’s Torment as the anchor item, followed by Zhonya’s Hourglass and Bloodletter’s Curse. That path burns tanks over long teamfights and buys a stasis window inside the enemy backline. Riftmaker, Shadowflame, Hextech Rocketbelt and Void Staff rotate in by matchup. The rune panel draws on very few games, so treat it as a snapshot rather than a fixed page.

On Gnar, Trinity Force comes first every time, with Sterak’s Gage, Wit’s End and Black Cleaver after it. That is an on-hit, split-push-friendly path that keeps mini Gnar dangerous between transformations. Flash and Teleport appear on all three champions, which fits a top laner who is asked to join fights on the other side of the map.

If you play top lane and want to copy these, check the item values in the latest patch notes first, since pro builds follow the patch they were played on. For the fundamentals behind Conqueror trades and Teleport timing, our League of Legends guides cover the basics.

Recent pro games

His latest games come from the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs against FlyQuest, Cloud9 and LYON. They end with the LYON series on 4 October 2026, the day Team Liquid took the title. Camille and Ambessa did most of the work in those series, while Jax, Rumble, Renekton, Gnar and Gragas rotated in. That spread shows Team Liquid using his pool to flex through drafts rather than locking in a single comfort pick.

Morgan’s LoL career so far

Morgan has played top lane at every stop since his debut. His first listed team was JD Gaming, from 22 April 2019 to 18 August 2019, followed by Team WE from 13 January 2020 to 27 August 2020. That gave him two early seasons with Chinese organizations before he returned to Korea.

He joined Hanwha Life Esports on 21 December 2020 and stayed until 6 November 2021. He then moved to the organization that defined the middle of his career: Fredit BRION from 12 January 2022, BRION in early 2023, and OKSavingsBank BRION from 7 June 2023 to 7 September 2025. That last stint was the longest of his career and included the KeSPA Cup 2024 title, but it ended on a difficult 2025.

Team Liquid signed him on 6 December 2025, and the move to North America changed his results almost at once. In his first year he played MSI 2026, won the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs and secured a Worlds 2026 spot.

Achievements

Two titles stand out on Morgan’s record. The LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs win on 4 October 2026 is the most important: it is the first league title in his listed achievements and came in his debut year with Team Liquid. The KeSPA Cup 2024 title, won on 8 December 2024 during his OKSavingsBank BRION years, was his first trophy at a Korean event.

Together they mark a player who spent years as a solid top laner on mid-table rosters and has now become a title winner. You can find more player and team profiles on our esports hub.
