Peyz LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Peyz has won titles in the LCK and the LPL and an MSI trophy. This profile covers his 2026 season with T1, his champion pool and builds, his career arc and his road into Worlds 2026.

Peyz (Kim Su-hwan, 김수환) is a South Korean bot laner who plays League of Legends for T1, the LCK organization he joined on 6 December 2025. He built his name at Gen.G, where he won MSI 2024 and a string of LCK titles. He then added an LPL trophy with JD Gaming. He is known as a marksman who wants the game played through him: hyper-carries such as Aphelios and Zeri, lane bullies such as Lucian and Kalista, and a habit of turning a farm lead into most of his team’s damage.

2026 season stats

Peyz is winning more in 2026 than he did in 2025, and he is doing it with a more aggressive profile. His JD Gaming year ended at a 54.4% win rate across 169 games. His first T1 season sits clearly above that mark, which makes it his most successful year since the Gen.G title runs.

The style shift shows in the per-game lines. He takes more kills per game than last season but dies slightly more, so his KDA has dropped below the 5.13 he posted in 2025. His farm, gold and damage per minute are all up. That points to a team that funnels resources to the bot lane and asks him to cash them in.

His share of the team’s damage is close to last year’s. His kill participation is a little lower. Read together, those two lines describe a player who spends more time farming side waves and less time following every skirmish. That is the standard trade a carry makes when his team trusts him to scale. He has also used a wider spread of champions than in 2025.

Peyz champions: 2026 pool and pro win rates

Jhin is Peyz’s most played champion this year, with Lucian and Caitlyn close behind. Those three carry the bulk of his games. All three have winning records, and Caitlyn has the best results of the trio. That is a notable shift for a player whose reputation was built on Aphelios and Zeri: his 2026 core leans on lane-dominant, utility-heavy marksmen rather than pure late-game scaling.

Behind that core sit picks with fewer games but strong returns. Ashe and Sivir both have well-above-average records on samples large enough to take seriously. Ashe’s last game was in May, though, so she reads as an earlier-season answer rather than a current staple. Kalista has also delivered, and she came back out in the playoffs against Dplus Kia.

The pool also shows how T1 drafts around him. Mel and Taliyah are not traditional marksmen, yet both appear in his bot lane on real samples, and Taliyah has a good record across her games. These are flex or counter-pick options that let T1 hide its bot lane choice or bring magic damage to the duo lane.

Two results stand out on the weaker side. Yunara is below even across eight games, and she was still being picked in the playoffs. Kai’Sa, one of his signature champions and his most played champion in ranked, also has a losing record this year. That gap between comfort and results is worth watching heading into international play.

Across his career, Aphelios is the champion he has played most, and Zeri, Kalista, Kai’Sa and Xayah carry some of his best long-run records. Those are the picks opponents still have to respect in draft, even in a year when Jhin and Lucian do the daily work.

Pro builds on Jhin, Lucian and Caitlyn

Peyz’s builds on his three most played champions all point the same way: win lane, then win range and tempo in the mid game. On Jhin, Rapid Firecannon is his near-constant item, paired with Stormrazor and Youmuu’s Ghostblade. That is a burst-and-reach setup. It extends Jhin’s empowered shots and makes his fourth bullet hit from safety. Fleet Footwork as the keystone adds sustain and movement in a long lane.

On Lucian he starts with Essence Reaver and follows with Navori Flickerblade. That build cuts his cooldowns so he can weave more spells between auto attacks, and Press the Attack rewards the short, violent trades Lucian wants. Infinity Edge and Mortal Reminder round out the usual path when the game goes long or the enemy stacks healing.

On Caitlyn, Infinity Edge is the fixed first item, with Rapid Firecannon and Hexoptics C44 stretching her range further. Lethal Tempo as the keystone shows he plans to hold the front of the wave and siege turrets, not just poke. Across all three champions he runs Barrier with Flash. He would rather survive an all-in than heal through poke, which suits a player who wants to stay in lane and keep farming.

TipCopying Peyz's builds in solo queue

His item paths are built around one plan: win lane, then out-range the enemy mid game. Before you copy one, check the current patch notes for item changes and read the matching page in our champion pages to see whether the same path is winning in ranked.

Recent pro games

His latest games come from the LCK 2026 Season Playoffs, in series against Hanwha Life Esports and Dplus Kia. Across those games he cycled through a wide set of picks: Lucian, Zeri, Kalista, Sivir and Xayah, plus Jinx, Yunara and Mel. That spread suggests T1 drafted him a different answer almost every game rather than locking in one comfort pick.

Peyz’s team history: from Gen.G to T1

Peyz’s career moves fast and covers both of the biggest leagues in the world. His first listed stint was with Gen.G Challengers, from 10 to 12 December 2021. He joined Gen.G’s main roster on 18 January 2023 and stayed until 2 November 2024. Those two years made him one of the LCK’s most decorated young bot laners.

He then moved to China. He played for JD Gaming in the LPL from 16 December 2024 to 21 September 2025 and won a split title in his first months there. He returned to Korea on 6 December 2025 to join T1. That makes him one of the few bot laners with titles in both the LCK and the LPL.

Achievements

The headline result is MSI 2024, an international title won in May 2024, the same year he swept the LCK Spring regular season, the Spring Playoffs and LCK 2024 Summer. That year ended with a 3rd–4th finish at Worlds 2024, which is still his best result at the World Championship.

His first full year already showed the ceiling: he won the LCK 2023 Spring Playoffs and the LCK 2023 Summer Playoffs and placed 4th at MSI 2023. He added LPL 2025 Split 1 with JD Gaming, then won the KeSPA Cup 2025 in December 2025. At T1, his best listed result so far is 4th at the Esports World Cup 2026. A Worlds title is the one major trophy his record does not yet include.

Solo queue

Peyz plays Ranked Solo/Duo at Challenger on the Korean server, and his ranked pool looks different from his pro one. Kai’Sa is his most played ranked champion and one of his best, even though she has struggled in pro games this year. Ezreal, Aphelios, Jhin and Senna fill out the top of the list. Yunara has a losing record in ranked, just as she does on stage.

If you play bot lane, his ranked Kai’Sa and Jhin games are the most useful to study, because you can watch the same champions in both settings. More pro players who stream are listed on our streamers and pro players page.

Peyz’s streamer page lists 566 solo queue games in our VOD library at a 55.7% win rate, currently Challenger (2,238 LP).
