SkewMond LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

SkewMond, real name Rudy Semaan, is a French jungler who has played League of Legends (LoL) for G2 Esports since 18 January 2025. He is known for skirmish-first bruiser junglers such as Xin Zhao, Jarvan IV and Pantheon. He was also the jungler of the G2 roster that won the LEC Versus, Spring and Summer playoff titles in 2026.

The scoreboards show a clear style. He farms well for a jungler and takes fights early. He builds to survive extended fights rather than to burst a single target. He heads to Worlds 2026 as the starting jungler of the organization that set the pace in the LEC this year.

SkewMond’s 2026 has been busier and more successful than his first year at G2. Deep runs at First Stand and MSI added international games on top of three LEC splits. His win rate sits above the 59.3% he finished 2025 with.

The shape of his games has changed too. He is farming more, earning more gold per minute and dealing more damage per minute than in 2025, and he picks up more kills per game. The cost is a KDA below last season’s 5.28, because he also dies a little more often.

His share of G2’s damage is almost unchanged, and his kill participation is slightly lower. That fits a jungler who takes more of the map’s resources for himself and turns them into his own threat. He is no longer simply following his laners into fights.

If you play these champions in solo queue, the lesson is that SkewMond plays to be a damage threat, not a pure enabler. The bruiser junglers below only work that way if you keep your CS/min up between fights. Clear camps on the way to a play instead of walking past them.

Xin Zhao is SkewMond’s main champion in 2026, and his winning record on it comes from a sample large enough to trust. Jarvan IV, Pantheon and Skarner complete his core. All four have winning records over a dozen or more games, so G2 clearly drafts around his early skirmishing instead of asking him to play a passive tank.

A second tier sits behind that core. Vi has one of the best records in his pool on a smaller sample, and Trundle and Aatrox have both been reliable. Naafiri and Olaf are his high-damage options, though Olaf has only broken even so far. Lee Sin is the one regular pick that has not worked: the sample is small, but the losing record is the clearest weak spot in the table.

Poppy, Nocturne, Dr. Mundo and Zaahen are pocket picks with too few games to judge. Wukong sits in between. It is a flexible pick he keeps returning to, including in the LEC 2026 Summer Playoffs, but it lacks the results of his core four. The pool is about as wide as the 19 champions he played in 2025, so target bans alone will not take him out of the draft.

Across his career, his staples are Xin Zhao, Vi, Jarvan IV, Maokai and Trundle, and Maokai still appeared in G2’s 2026 playoff drafts. Volibear was a standout in 2025 but has not been played since 28 September 2025.

SkewMond builds his three most played champions almost identically. Black Cleaver and Sundered Sky go into nearly every game, and Guardian Angel joins them most of the time. That core says he wants long fights rather than one-shot ganks.

Each item has a job. Black Cleaver shreds armor for the whole team, and Sundered Sky keeps him healthy through extended trades. Guardian Angel lets him dive the backline knowing he has a second life.

The runes follow the same logic. He takes Conqueror in Precision with Triumph and Cut Down, then Inspiration as the secondary tree for Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight. That saves gold on boots and adds haste to his Summoner spells and items. Xin Zhao and Jarvan IV run Legend: Alacrity, while Pantheon swaps to Legend: Haste. Every build here uses Flash and Smite.

The remaining slots are where he adapts to the draft. On Jarvan IV he has bought Kaenic Rookern and Maw of Malmortius against magic damage. On Xin Zhao he has gone Death’s Dance or Titanic Hydra, and on Pantheon he has added Sterak’s Gage. The core stays fixed while these slots answer the enemy draft.

SkewMond’s latest games come from the LEC 2026 Summer Playoffs. G2 faced Team Vitality, Karmine Corp and finally Movistar KOI on 20 September 2026, the day the organization took the title. Xin Zhao and Jarvan IV stayed his go-to picks, and the Karmine Corp series also brought out Maokai and a Cho’Gath.

The final series against Movistar KOI showed his range, with Skarner, Poppy and Wukong. Games with a recording carry a Watch link in the table. Use them to study the same champions you see in his pool.

Watch his best Xin Zhao, Jarvan IV and Pantheon games below. These are his three most played champions in 2026, and he builds all three the same way. Together they give the clearest view of how he wants a game to go.

Focus on when he commits to a fight relative to his item spikes. That timing is the part of his play you can copy most directly in your own games.

SkewMond joined G2 Esports as its jungler on 18 January 2025 and has stayed there since. His career champion pool includes games from 2024, before that move, but G2 is where his results came.

His first year paid off quickly. G2 won LEC 2025 Summer on 26 August 2025 and the LEC 2025 Summer Playoffs on 28 September 2025, and it finished fourth at the Esports World Cup 2025.

In 2026 the team won the LEC Versus Playoffs on 1 March and finished second at First Stand 2026. It then won the LEC Spring Playoffs on 7 June, placed fourth at MSI 2026 and won the LEC Summer Playoffs on 20 September.

Born on 9 August 2004, he is still early in his career, and his numbers have grown with the team. In 2026 he played more games and earned more gold and more damage than in 2025. Compare him with other players across the scene in our esports hub.

SkewMond’s standing rests on domestic dominance. Sweeping the LEC Versus, Spring and Summer playoffs in 2026 makes him the jungler of the region’s reference team. That run followed a 2025 in which G2 won both the LEC Summer split and its playoffs.

International play is where his record falls short. Second place at First Stand 2026 is his best result outside Europe, and fourth places at the Esports World Cup 2025 and MSI 2026 show G2 getting close without finishing the job. Worlds 2026 is his next chance to change that.

SkewMond is at Worlds 2026 with G2 Esports, which qualified as EMEA #1 and enters the Main Event directly. G2 starts in the Swiss stage on 23 October 2026, and the Knockouts follow for the teams that advance. Follow every stage on the Worlds 2026 hub.
