Tactical LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Tactical won two LCS titles with Team Liquid, rebuilt in the NACL with Conviction in 2026 and now plays bot lane for Cloud9 at Worlds 2026. Here is what his stats, champion pool and builds say about him.

Tactical (Edward Ra) is an American bot laner who plays for Cloud9 in the LCS, and the short answer for anyone searching Tactical LoL is this: he is a two-time LCS champion from his Team Liquid years who rebuilt his career in 2026. He won LCS 2020 Summer and the LCS 2021 Lock In with Liquid, then played for TSM and Immortals. In 2026 he started in the NACL with Conviction, joined Cloud9 on 25 July 2026 and now heads to Worlds 2026 with the organization.

His reputation rests on a deep marksman pool built around Ezreal, Varus, Kalista, Lucian and Xayah, and on a willingness to take the lane-dominant or utility pick his team needs. This season he has also shown up on mages in the bot lane, which tells you a lot about how Cloud9 drafts around him.

2026 season stats

Tactical is winning less often than in 2025 but carrying a bigger share of his team’s output. His 2025 season was an outlier: a 48–16 record and a 75% win rate, with very few deaths for a carry. The 2026 numbers come back down on win rate, KDA and kills per game, and he dies a little more often.

The other side of the ledger matters more for judging him as a player. In 2026 he farms faster, earns more gold per minute, deals more damage per minute and takes a larger slice of his team’s damage than he did in 2025. He also puts down more vision per minute. That is the profile of a bot laner his team plays through, not one who rides a strong roster.

Keep the split in mind when you read the table. The 2026 line mixes his NACL spring with Conviction and his summer with Cloud9, two very different levels of opposition, so the season total flattens a year in which he moved up a tier mid-way.

Tactical champions and pro win rates

Ezreal is the center of his 2026 pool by a wide margin, and he wins more than he loses on it. No other champion comes close in volume, which makes Ezreal the pick Cloud9 can lean on when a draft needs a safe, scaling bot lane that still threatens with poke.

Caitlyn and Yunara are the only other champions with a real sample this year, and both carry winning records. Caitlyn gives him lane pressure and siege range; Yunara is his teamfight hypercarry. Those three are the core you should expect to see in any best-of series.

Below that sits a long tail of small samples. Kalista, Varus and Ashe are unbeaten this season, while Lucian has not won a game in 2026, but each has fewer than five games, which is too few to call any of them strong or weak. Treat them as comfort and counter picks rather than trends.

The mages are the interesting part. Corki, Ziggs, Cassiopeia and a single Viktor game all came in the bot lane, which shows Cloud9 is willing to draft a magic-damage or siege bot lane and trust him to play it. That flexibility gives his team more options in pick and ban than a pure marksman player would.

Pro builds

The thread through all three of his top builds is Lethal Tempo with an Inspiration secondary. He wants extended fights where attack speed stacks up, and he takes Cash Back and Cut Down for economy and tank-shredding. That rune page says he expects games to be decided by long teamfights, not by a single burst window.

On Ezreal, the build is the classic spellblade path: Muramana and Trinity Force, then Spear of Shojin, with Endless Hunger and Serylda’s Grudge rounding it out. The standout choice is Exhaust next to Flash instead of Barrier or Heal. That trades personal survival for the power to turn a dive or shut down an enemy carry, which fits an Ezreal who plays forward rather than one who only pokes from range.

Caitlyn is built for range and siege: Infinity Edge first, with Hexoptics C44, Lord Dominik’s Regards and Rapid Firecannon as his usual follow-ups. Yunara goes the other way, with Infinity Edge, Kraken Slayer and Runaan’s Hurricane for multi-target damage in teamfights, and Triumph in place of Presence of Mind to reset fights after a takedown. Both take Barrier, the safer spell, because those champions win by staying alive into the late game.

Career: from Team Liquid to the Tactical Cloud9 team

Tactical broke into the LCS with Team Liquid, joining on 25 January 2020 and staying until 6 November 2021. That stint produced the best results of his career: the LCS 2020 Summer title on 9 August 2020 and the LCS 2021 Lock In on 31 January 2021.

He moved to TSM for 2022, from 5 February to 11 September 2022, then spent the longest spell of his career at Immortals, from 26 January 2023 to 11 August 2024. Neither organization added a trophy, but those years kept him a starter in the LCS bot lane.

The 2026 season was a reset. His spring games came with Conviction in the NACL, including its playoffs, before Cloud9 signed him on 25 July 2026. Within a few months he went from the second tier to playing LCS playoffs and qualifying for Worlds with one of North America’s best-known organizations. Achievements

Two titles define his standing: LCS 2020 Summer and the LCS 2021 Lock In, both with Team Liquid. Winning a domestic split and the following preseason tournament back to back established him early as a title-level bot laner in North America.

Those trophies came in his first two years as a starter, and the years since have been about getting back to that level. A Worlds qualification with Cloud9 is the biggest stage he has reached since then.
