Lucid LoL: Career, Champions and Worlds 2026

Lucid is Dplus Kia’s jungler, an Esports World Cup 2026 winner heading into the Worlds 2026 Swiss stage. His season stats, champion pool, builds and career, read from pro scoreboards.

Lucid (Choi Yong-hyeok, 최용혁) is a League of Legends jungler who has played for Dplus Kia in Korea’s LCK since 17 January 2024. He is known for a fighter-heavy jungle pool: Lee Sin, Vi, Wukong and Jarvan IV carry most of his career, and in 2026 he leans on bruisers that win early skirmishes and then stay alive in teamfights. He won the Esports World Cup 2026 with Dplus Kia and goes to Worlds 2026 with the organization as Korea #4.

Born 28 January 2005 in South Korea, he first appears in pro records with DWG KIA Challengers in December 2021. His three listed titles span that first stint, a first-place LCK stage in 2025 and the international win of 2026.

2026 season stats

Lucid’s 2026 is a more aggressive, more resource-heavy season than his 2025. Compared with last year he takes a larger share of Dplus Kia’s damage, farms more and earns more gold per minute. That fits a pool that moved toward damage-dealing bruisers such as Xin Zhao and Jarvan IV, champions that want items rather than a jungler who only sets up others.

The cost shows in his survival numbers. He dies more often and posts fewer assists per game than in 2025, when he finished the year on a 3.84 KDA, and his kill participation sits a little below last year’s 74.2%. More of the map now runs through his own fights, and fewer of his plays are pure setups for his laners.

The win rate follows the same line. Dplus Kia still wins more than it loses with him, but slightly less often than the 92–70 record of 2025. He has also played a slightly narrower range of champions than last year and places a bit more vision per minute, so the profile is a jungler with a tighter, more committed plan rather than a scattered one.

For Worlds, that is the trade to watch. More damage from the jungle only pays off when it does not come with extra deaths in the river, and the season-stats table shows exactly where the balance sits as games are added.

Champion pool: Lucid’s champions and pro win rates

Jarvan IV is the center of Lucid’s 2026 pool. It is his most played champion this season and, on a large sample, his best win rate, which makes it the champion Dplus Kia can fall back on when a draft needs early engage and a jungler who starts fights for the team.

Wukong is the other champion that clearly works: a winning record on a real sample, with teamfight engage that suits the same plan. Xin Zhao is his second most played champion and wins a little more often than it loses. It gives him a champion built for early duels, and it shows up among his best games of the year.

The surprise is Vi. She is one of his signature champions across his career, yet in 2026 she has a losing record over a meaningful number of games. Pantheon also sits below even, while Lee Sin has a winning but unspectacular season, below the record he holds on the champion over his career.

Further down the table sit the pocket picks. Naafiri, an assassin rather than a bruiser, has worked across a handful of games and came back out in the playoffs. Skarner is a tank option at an even record. Trundle, Maokai, Kindred and Nocturne have too few games this season to judge either way.

Key takeawayReading Lucid's drafts

His champion choices tell you what Dplus Kia wants from the game.

  1. Jarvan IV means a planned engage composition built around early fights.
  2. Xin Zhao or Wukong means a jungler who wants to duel early and frontline later.
  3. Off-pool champions such as Naafiri or Cho’Gath are counter-picks or draft answers, not comfort choices.

Pro builds

Lucid’s three most played champions follow one template: Conqueror in Precision, Inspiration as the secondary tree, and Black Cleaver with Sundered Sky as the core. That is a bruiser build for long fights, not a burst build. It says he wants games decided in extended skirmishes where he stays in the middle of the fight and keeps hitting.

The third item shows how he reads a game. Guardian Angel is the usual choice when he expects to dive and needs a second life; Maw of Malmortius comes in against magic damage, Death’s Dance against physical burst, and Titanic Hydra appears only on Xin Zhao. The runes split along the same lines: Legend: Haste on Jarvan IV for more frequent engages, Legend: Alacrity on Xin Zhao and Vi, who deal their damage through basic attacks.

The Inspiration secondary of Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight trades early power for free boots and lower cooldowns, while Cut Down in the main tree pays off against tank-heavy teams. Attack Speed, Adaptive Force and Health fill the stat shards, and Flash with Smite never changes.

TipCopying the template in solo queue

If you play Jarvan IV, Xin Zhao or Vi in the jungle, Conqueror into Black Cleaver and Sundered Sky is a pro-tested base. Choose the third item from the enemy team’s damage, not from habit, and check the latest patch notes before you lock in, since item values move between patches. Our League of Legends guides cover the jungle fundamentals that get these champions to their first fights on time.

Lucid LoL career so far

Lucid’s listed career is short and concentrated. His first team on record is DWG KIA Challengers, from 10 to 12 December 2021, and his first title, the KeSPA Cup 2021, is dated 12 December 2021, the last day of that stint.

His next listed team is Dplus Kia, which he joined as its jungler on 17 January 2024. He has held that seat since, through a first-place finish in LCK 2025 Rounds 3–5 and the Esports World Cup 2026 title, which makes him one of the steadier parts of the organization’s lineup. Achievements

The Esports World Cup 2026, won on 19 July 2026, is the biggest result on Lucid’s record and his only international title listed. It gave Dplus Kia a trophy against teams from other regions before Worlds, and his Xin Zhao and Vi games from that run sit among his best of the year.

First place in LCK 2025 Rounds 3–5, dated 31 August 2025, matters for a different reason: it showed Dplus Kia could top a long Korean league stage with him in the jungle, not just win a short tournament. The KeSPA Cup 2021 win from December 2021 completes the list.
